During a heavy snowmelt in the Andes, Petra, 71, discovers the perfectly preserved corpse of a mountaineer from the last century. Initially hesitant, she brings him to her wooden chalet, sparking an unexpected romantic story.

Stefania Malacchini, Malu Furche

Born in 1988 and 1989 in Chile, Malu Furche and Stefania Malacchini are writers and filmmakers working across film, TV and literature. Furche, an MFA graduate from NYU, created works such as Robar a Rodin (2017), Zander (2021) and Oro Amargo (2024), and authored the award-winning Islas de calor. Malacchini, an economist specialized in arts and culture, co-created and directed Zander and writes for youth TV while developing her first non-fiction book.
