Ricardo Sampaio

Ricardo Sampaio is a Brazilian director born in Jequié, Bahia. He holds a degree in Social Communication/Journalism and began his career in the 2000s in the state of Santa Catarina. In 2007, he became one of the leading advertising directors in the state, and in 2015, he received Globo’s Profissionais do Ano Award. In 2018, he moved to São Paulo, where he consolidated his career. He is the founder of Paraíso Filmes, where he directed Obra, his first short film. He is currently developing his first feature film project.
