Seville, 1978. Director of animation and art director. He started in the video game industry as a designer, producer, and art supervisor. Later on, he made the leap into film and participated as an art director in the first animated short film Tadeo Jones, which received a great number of awards, including a Goya. This was followed by the short films Tadeo Jones and the cursed basement, Tadeo Jones and the hand of Nefertiti, La Bruxa by Pedro Solís, and Strings, which holds the Guinness World Record for the most awarded short film in history. He has been the art director for the feature films Tadeo Jones, Capture the Flag, and Tadeo Jones 2: The Secret of King Midas.

Recently, he has started working in animation directing with the film Momias, which has become the most internationally distributed film in the history of Spanish cinema and has managed to enter the top 10 of the most successful Spanish directors at the box office. Currently, he is co-directing a new animated film called Buffalo Kids together with Pedro Solís.
