Autumn 1984. Valeria is ten years old and lives, along with her brother, the anguish caused by her father’s violence and her mother’s submission, which forces her to hide what is happening. On her birthday, her best friend reveals a secret to her: when the musical boxes play, the saddest truths can be told because at that moment they hurt less. Now Valeria has a plan. Will it work?
Cecilia E. Petrujno
Buenos Aires, 1980. Graduated in Film and Television Direction and Production. She has been working for twenty years as a producer, screenwriter and editor in the audiovisual industry for various media companies. She has also performed work in the directing area, from video clips to movies. In 2021 she films Three Wishes. A Truth is the first short film that she take on as a director, screenwriter and producer.
