The film portrays the unconventional career of Gilles Clément, gardener, landscape designer, and writer. Influenced by environmentalism and an advocate for the mixing of species, he challenged traditional garden design at the end of the 20th century and introduced concepts such as the «garden in motion,» the «planetary garden,» and the «third landscape.»
Olivier Comte
Olivier Comte es un director francés. Tras formarse como camarógrafo en la Escuela Louis-Lumière y trabajar durante diez años en la producción televisiva, se interesó por el paisaje y participó en el Observatorio Fotográfico de los Paisajes (1995-2000). Las temáticas del paisaje y el viaje son determinantes en su trabajo. Con París-Orleans, cuaderno de viaje de un habitante de las afueras, propone redescubrir, a pie, esos paisajes olvidados que jalonan el camino entre ambas ciudades. Con Gilles Clément, el jardín en movimiento, comparte con nosotros un elogio del paseo.
