“Short Story Literary Prize on Cinema” announces its XI edition
One of the novelties announced at the time by the organization of Huesca International Film Festival was the recovery of the Literary Prize for Short Stories on Cinema that has now been launched with the presentation of the regulations for its XI edition and the opening of the submission period.
Huesca International Film Festival announces ‘XI Cinema Short Story Literary Prize’, sponsored by Fundación Anselmo Pié Sopena in cooperation with Aveletra Writers Asociation and Huesca Bookstore Association. Its jury, appointed by Aveletra, will award a 800 € cash prize to the winner author at next edition of Huesca Book Fair. Besides, the short story will be broadcasted through a variety of media. Submission period opens on Thrusday 20th March until 20th April, closing date for submitting entries. Cinema shall be the subject matter for these short stories which have to be unpublished, original, written in Spanish and extend to a page maximum. Any author may submit regardless of nationality or age but only one work for entrant is allowed. ‘It is great news for us to recover this prize, and we are persuaded that it will have a great reception not only in Huesca, but at a national level’ said Victor Castillon, Huesca Bookstore Association chairman.
