Because through the exploration of two different realities from a young man, it shows the loss and search of identity problems in a realistic way. That is achieved thanks to intimate shots, sequences and scenes of the main character with his family and surroundings. Also highlight the beauty of the night shots and Irak landscapes.

For showing us human social challenges, not only from the struggle, but also giving value to the human and popular culture.

Because it is a necessary film that proposes to us a mirror game, where it reflects the painful process of reconciliation thirty years after the end of the Balcan war. With a great visual power, the main characters undress emotionally, showing their injuries and vulnerabilities.
‘JINETE IBERICO’ DOCUMENTARY DEBUT FIRST WORK AWARD, given by Institute of Altoaragoneses Studies, of €1.000 (one thousand euros) and a trophy, goes to the short film THE VEILED CITY (United Kingdom) by NATALIE CUBIDES-BRADY. For its experimental and expressivity when talking about themes like pollution and industrialization. Using a letter as script to talk about these questions that started in the past, are maintained in the present and will be increased in the future.
