The Huesca International Film Festival (HIFF) also announces the second edition of its Pitching and Work in Progress calls. These two initiatives were established last year as pioneers in Spain, representing a commitment to the industry sector that the festival has been developing for years. The first one seeks to support new talent and the creation of short films by emerging professionals in Spain, providing a meeting space for young professional short filmmakers and producers. It covers fiction, documentary, and non-fiction
Work in Progress HIFF aims to boost, provide visibility, and accompany Ibero-American short films in advanced stages of post-production. It offers creative and industrial support for projects currently in the editing or finalization phase.
The submission period for both initiatives will remain open from March 5 to March 19, and the full guidelines can now be consulted on the festival’s website.
