A film critic and programmer, he has worked at Cinemateca Portuguesa since 2023, having previously worked at Casa do Cinema Manoel de Oliveira – Fundação de Serralves and at film festivals such as IndieLisboa and Porto/Post/Doc. He co-founded the cinephile website À pala de Walsh in 2012, having co-edited two anthology volumes, one of critical essays (2017) and one of interviews (2024). He has published several books for Cinemateca dedicated to Portuguese and international filmmakers. He teaches at ESTC and Lusófona University.
