RAQUEL FERNÁNDEZ

Winner of the Award at the Los Angeles Women’s International Film Festival and the Best Documentary Cinematography Award at the Mirage Film Festival, she has received nominations at venues such as the Berlinale, Tribeca Film Festival, Rotterdam Film Festival, Golden Horse Film Festival (Taiwan), Hong Kong Film Festival, Documenta Madrid, and the Goya Awards.

Raquel has lived in New York, London, Shanghai, Los Angeles, and Madrid. She collaborates with artists from other disciplines, and her audiovisual works form part of the permanent collections of the Reina Sofía, the MACBA, the Patrick Tuytens Collection (Belgium), and Les Abattoirs (France).

She is a faculty member at the Madrid School of Cinematography, the International School of Film and Television of Cuba (EICTV), the New York Film Academy, and the London Film School, where she mentors the work of future industry professionals.
