He was director of production of the Mexican Institute of Cinematography and director of the company Producciones Anhelo, owned by Alfonso Cuarón. He produced 3 short films selected for the Cannes International Critics Week, 4 short films selected for the official competition of the Cannes Festival, 3 short films selected for the Venice Film Festival, 1 short film nominated for an Oscar and 1 short film winner of the Palme d’Or of Cannes.

He is the producer of the animated feature film Ana y Bruno, official selection of the Annecy Festival, winner of the Quirino Award for best film and nominated for best screenplay, best music and winner of best animated film by the Mexican Academy of Cinematographic Arts and Sciences and by the Chamber of Commerce of the National Film Industry. Since its foundation, 20 years ago, he has been a member of the organizing and selection committee of the Morelia International Film Festival.
