Mercedes Lax Otero (Barbastro, 2004) lives in Huesca, is studying Motion Graphics at the Escuela de Arte de Huesca. She focuses on art and lighting with a strong interest in experimental work. Currently, she is working on several academic projects including La Pitonisa, an audiovisual collage inspired by the song Harpy Hare, and an animated illustration based on Joan Miró’s The Garden. Her work explores the relationship between the real and the unreal, the known and the unknown, addressing both fiction and documentary styles. Motivated by the desire to move and leave a mark on the audience, she aims to create audiovisual pieces that deeply connect with viewers.
