JUANJO ARTERO

Since Antonio Mercero casually recruited him at the age of 14 to play Javi in the legendary Spanish series Verano azul, and through his recognition with the Protagonistas 2011 Award for his Television Career, his nomination for Best Supporting Actor at the Goya Awards 2012, and theater tours throughout Spain and Latin America, Juanjo Artero has become the renowned and active actor he is today, recognized for his television work in series such as El Comisario (12 seasons), El Barco, and the recent Servir y Proteger (7 seasons). On the big screen, he has participated in more than 15 movies, including Enrique Urbizu’s No habrá paz para los malvados, and Antonio del Real’s Corazón loco, ¡Por Fin Solos!, and El río que nos lleva, in which he also worked as a producer, and which took him to some of the most important film festivals and was even declared as a film of cultural interest by the UNESCO. He has also starred in major theater tours such as Seis clases de baile en seis semanas, La discreta enamorada, Historias de Karaoke, and El milagro de la Tierra.
