IGNACIO LASIERRA

Doctor in Communication from the San Jorge University (2017), he has a master’s degree in Fiction Script for Film and Television from the Pontifical University of Salamanca and a master’s degree in Film, Television and New Technologies from the Rey Juan Carlos University of Madrid. He has written and directed several short films: La granja (2011), Mi tío Ramón (2015), La comulgante (2018) and Parresia (2021). His last short film was a candidate in the category of Best Fiction Short Film at the Goya Awards 2023. He has also worked as an assistant director in films such as Rider (Ignacio Estaregui, 2023) or Las niñas (Pilar Palomero, 2020). He is currently teaching in the Audiovisual Communication Degree at San Jorge University, and working on his first feature film as a director: Perseidas.
