Hervé Le Phuez holds a master’s degree in French Literature & Language with a focus on cinema, as well as a diploma in Cultural Management. Before becoming the director of Wallonie Bruxelles Images in 2021 (the official agency for promoting Francophone Belgian cinema and audiovisual works abroad), he dedicated over two decades to programming at the Festival International du Film Francophone de Namur (FIFF), where he played a key role in spotlighting emerging talents from the Francophone world.

Over the years, he has served on numerous international juries and collaborated with various European and international institutions on projects related to film curation – including for the Huesca International Film Festival in the early 2000s –, audience development, and talent promotion.
