GALA GRACIA

Gala Gracia is a director and screenwriter. Her short film El color de la sed won a total of 23 national and international awards, including the Grand Prize at the 38th edition of the Festival du Film Court de Villeurbanne (Lyon, France) in 2018. Throughout the year 2023, Gala has filmed and completed her debut feature film Lo que queda de ti (What Remains of You). The screenplay was previously selected in the 17th edition of the Ibero-American Cinematographic Projects Development Course of the Ibermedia Program in 2019. It was also presented in recognized Development and Co-production Forums, such as the Industry Village forum at the Les Arcs Film Festival (France) and the When East Meets West forum at the Trieste Film Festival (Italy), and is now awaiting its premiere. Gala has directed other non-fiction audiovisual formats and combines the development of her new projects with work in the Casting department, having worked as a casting assistant for Mireia Juárez and Eva Leira and Yolanda Serrano.
