ZOMBI

Yeison, a shy young man who loves heavy metal and zombie movies, is in love with his only friend, but doesn’t know how to conquer her or how to face this new stage called adulthood, in which he must assume responsibilities within a home with a sick grandmother and an unemployed father. In the midst of love failure, he’ll try to find a way to release all the anger produced by his frustrations.

Frank Benítez

Colombian screenwriter and director. He directed the fiction miniseries Las Iguanas, premiered in 2022 on HBO Max for Latin America, and the short films Xpectation, 200th Minute, selected in more than 120 international festivals, and Karina’s suit winner Best Director at the Long Beach Queer Film Festival and Best Fiction Short at The Americas Film Festival of New York. He recently directed the documentary El Pantera, winner of the Colombian Film Fund which will be released in 2024.
