This story brings us to Amelia’s teenage years. She has been wearing a back brace for four years, which is now going to be removed: she would finally be able to wear trousers and go to the end-of-school trip. But the doctors bring bad news, she must keep wearing it. Winds of Springtimes relates, in a poetic way, the first step of an acceptance, the most important of all: one’s own.
She recently graduated in Film Direction at the Madrid School of Cinematography and Audiovisual, where she has directed several short films. Carmen focuses on a poetic authorial cinema, based on stories and memories, as well as on video-poems. Recently, she co-directed En mi Oficio o mi Arte Sombrío, a poetry piece expanded for the International Dylan Day.
