Francesco Piras

Born in Cagliari (Italy) in 1978, Francesco Piras is a director, cinematographer and photographer. He has worked for years in the world of advertising. He directed the photography of numerous short films, documentaries and films. He directed the short film Il Nostro Concerto, which received national and international recognition. In 2021 he wrote and directed the short film Mammarranca. Grasshoppers has its world premiere at Sic@Sic-Venice International Film Critics’ Week.
