Ali Asgari

Ali Asgari is a prominent Iranian cinema figure with more than 200 awards to his name. Two of his shorts (More Than Two Hours, 2013; The Silence, 2016) were nominated for Palme d’Or at Festival de Cannes. His debut feature film, Disappearance, had its world and North American premiere at Venice International Film Festival and Toronto Film Festival 2017. Until Tomorrow, his second feature film, premiered in Berlinale 2022. Ali is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
