NOVY GOD

Galina from Moldova lives in Israel with Nutzi, an 85-year-old woman for whom she works for as a caregiver. It’s New Year’s Eve, and Galina is anxiously awaiting her date, which she hopes will turn into her first sexual encounter in years, but the emotional relationship with her employer, gets in the way.

Graduated in Film Studies from the Steve Tisch School of Film at Tel Aviv University. Her short film Solo received a special mention at the Tel Aviv International Student Film Festival (TISFF) and screened worldwide including at the Telluride Film Festival. Novy God is a Short on the Way winner from the Gesher Film Foundation.
