Half-animal, half-human creatures meet at a speed-dating dance event where they explore their differences and difficulties communicating. When a lovestruck man-cum-anteater falls for a woman-cum-shrew, he gets caught up in this courtship ballet.

After studying applied arts, Christel Guibert spent ten years working in animation, covering feature films, shorts and TV series before joining la Poudrière to study to be an animation director. In parallel, Christel has illustrated books and worked as a set designer for theatre. She has also taught drawing and printmaking and has published works of book art. Next? is her first professional short film.
