Los Ojos de Doña Lucy

Marco, a resourceful teenager, realizes that Doña Lucy, an old lady with a small grocery store in the neighborhood, is going blind, and in an attempt to fit in with her bad friends they plan to rob her after dark. Things are not going to turn out as he thought and Marco will have to deal with the consequences.

Carlos Hinojosa, Gerardo Romero

Carlos Hinojosa and Gerardo Romero, two young directors from Jalisco, met while studying at the University of Audiovisual Media in Guadalajara (Mexico). With a couple of friends they started the production company Zombie Films with the purpose of producing their own projects and began with the short film Oclayo which was the winner of the Ten Scary Seconds Short Film Competition 2021. A couple of years later they made Los Ojos de Doña Lucy as a thesis to graduate from the university.
