THE WOLF AND THE CAT
International Short Film Contest 52 ED. 2024
France 2023 20' Fiction
Loup, a 13-year-old deaf boy, is spending his summer holidays camping with his mother, Lea. Their all-encompassing relationship will be disrupted by the arrival of a lifeguard and a teenage girl in their lives.
Jean-Sébastien Bernard
Born near Salon-de-Provence (France), he started his career as a reporter while writing and directing two self-produced short films, The Glass Hedgehog and Phantasms of the Living, that earned him nearly 100 selections in festivals worldwide. With The Wolf and the Cat, he continues down the way he paved throughout his work: a singular filmography, flirting with surrealism and carefully directed. He is currently working on a series project and a first feature film.
