Spain 2025 20' Fiction Debut film
After not seeing each other for a long time, Sara is forced to rush from London to Madrid: her father has been admitted into a psychiatric ward after attempting to commit suicide.

Marina Velázquez Benítez
She graduated in Screenwriting at Madrid’s Film School (ECAM). She started her career writing for TV series for the main national channels and international platforms (RTVE, Atresplayer, Netflix, AppleTV). As writer-director, she has made the short films Etxetxipia (2022), Jerusalem (2023) and The Colour Grey. She is currently writing her first feature film as director, House in Flames. At the same time, she works as a script teacher at Madrid’s Film School (ECAM) and Universidad Rey Juan Carlos, and as jury member in selection committees of different development programs (La Incubadora, AFTER).
