Mexican filmmaker and visual artist with a Bachelor’s Degree in Film Studies from the University of Guadalajara. Cándida Vida, his first documentary short film, won two awards for Best Student Documentary, and Out of Nowhere, his latest fiction, won Best Mexican Short Film at the Guanajuato International Film Festival. He is currently working on his first feature film, a fiction about how to make films against the backdrop of violence and insecurity in Mexico.
