Jessica is a 14-year-old t who comes from a marginal background. Her father’s abuse since she was little has turned her into an angry self-destructive young girl with a great armor even with her little sister, 8-year-old Alma. Due to a misunderstanding, Jessica will have to go to the food stamps office along her sister during the spanish holiday of San Juan. Through that trip with Alma, Jessica will realize that she doesn’t want to be like her father and she’ll learn to treat her little sister with love and not with violence.

Lucía G. Romero

Lucía (1999) had an interest in telling stories from an early age. Encouraged by her mother, a literature teacher, and her father, a television editor, Lucía began studying cinematography at the ESCAC from which she graduated in 2023. In it she wrote and directed several fiction short films, as well as a documentary that won in the DOC-U section of DocsBarcelona in 2019. With Cura Sana she culminates her learning at school by telling an autobiographical story linked to his Cuban roots and full of political demands.
