Uberlândia, Brazil. Chico earns his living fixing ovens, in which he easily fits into thanks to his small size. Disregarded and marginalized by a society that hates him, Chico begins to resist.
Carlos Segundo
Born in São Paulo (Brazil). PhD in Cinema and master’s degree in Psychoanalysis. He teaches at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte and founded the Brazilian production company O sopro do tempo. His filmography includes Fendas, a feature debut, and the shorts From time to time I burn and Sideral. In 2023, Sideral won Best Film at Chicago, Best International Short at Palm Springs, and Best Drama at LA Shorts amongst other awards. His new short Big Bang won the Golden Leopard at Locarno 2022.
