ALLÁ EN EL CIELO

In the outskirts of Lima, 11-year-old Chito cares for messenger pigeons used in his brother’s drug trade. After violence shatters his childhood, grief and a fragile gesture of humanity open the possibility of another destiny.

Filmmaker and commercial director trained in Peru, Cuba, and Argentina, he has developed his career between Peru, Chile, São Paulo, and Mexico. As a commercial director, he has received some prestigious recognitions including the Grand Prix at the Cíclope Latino (2024) and the award for Best Peruvian Director at El Ojo de Iberoamerica.
Allá en el Cielo (Nobody Knows the World) is his first short film. The film has been selected at Berlinale Generation 2026. He is currently developing his first feature film, El vuelo de las hojas (The Flight of the Leaves).
