Chile – Argentina 2023 21' Fiction - Animation
While a gamer is uploading a testimonial video to report the harassment she is experiencing in a video game, a stranger enters her house and hacks her computer, blurring the boundaries between the real and virtual worlds.

Valeria Hofmann
Film director and screenwriter based in Valparaíso (Chile). As a member of the documentary collective MAFI, she co-directed Propaganda (2014) and Dios (2019), both films premiered at Visions du Réel. She has recently graduated from the Master Lav program in Madrid, with pieces like the documentary short film The Ram’s Nap (2020), shown at important festivals. AliEN0089 is her first fiction work, which premiered at the Sundance Film Festival, where it won the Best Directing Award – International Short Film.
