Huesca International Youth Film Festival has arrived for the first time at Huesca International film festival. Together with the Manuel Giménez Abad Foundation and in collaboration with the Department of Culture and Sport of the Government of Aragon, the Alto-Aragón contest opens its screens to the productions of young filmmakers from all over the world.

The contest awards short films made by students between 6 and 18 years old, from primary and secondary schools of any country of the world, who have been selected by festivals belonging to the network of Youth Cinema Association. An association that aims to promote cinema and human values.

The jury in charge of awarding HUESCA INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FILM PRIZE for the best International Short Film in Educational and Citizenship values is composed of students from the Faculty of Human Sciences and Education of the Campus of Huesca.

Likewise, HUESCA INTERNATIONAL YOUTH FILM PRIZE OF THE PUBLIC is awarded by schoolchildren from Primary and Secondary schools of the capital of Huesca.

Both awards are sponsored by the “Manuel Giménez Abad” Foundation and with the collaboration of the Department of Education, Culture and Sports of the Government of Aragon.
