The objective of this practical activity is to learn how to make the most of the audiovisual tools available to any user (mobile phones and cameras). To achieve this, we will briefly and introductory address the characteristics of audiovisual storytelling and its narrative and formal elements, analyzing the content of influential content creators on popular platforms such as Instagram, Twitch, TikTok, etc. This analysis will help extract the most useful aspects when it comes to turning an idea into an audiovisual piece for social media. Key aspects will be provided to structure the discourse based on a script, plan the staging, assess the necessary resources to develop it, record images and sounds using mobile devices, and assemble the final pieces in the most effective way through editing.
