What do the most awarded short films have in common? In this talk, Lucas Castán, a professor at the Universidad San Jorge, will analyze the technical and narrative features that are common to the works that receive the best reception in their distribution phase.
Lucas Castán
Balancing teaching at the Universidad San Jorge with his audiovisual career, Lucas Castán has established himself as a prominent figure in the Spanish film industry. Among his notable projects is his second short film, Los hombres de verdad no lloran (Real Men Don’t Cry), which premiered at the Málaga Film Festival. The film has garnered an impressive 38 awards and over 140 selections in festivals worldwide. Selected for the Goya Awards and the Forqué Awards 2018.
