La Fémis, also known as the National Film School of Image and Sound, is a world-renowned French public higher education institution. Established in 1986, the school offers comprehensive technical and artistic training to prepare professionals for careers in the audiovisual and film industry.
The École Nationale Supérieure de l’Audiovisuel (ENSAV) is a French public institution founded in 1978 and located in Toulouse. It provides technical and artistic training in various cinematographic professions. The ENSAV is one of the four public film schools in France, along with the École Nationale Supérieure Louis-Lumière and La Fémis in Paris, and the École Nationale Supérieure de Cinéma Cinéfabrique in Lyon.

Murphy, a young black girl of Congolese descent, suffers from depression. Although she is 20 years old, she cannot gather the strength to face her mother and to confess her angst.
Victoria Neto
A 27-year-old director, screenwriter and photographer, Victoria began her career in as an actress then directed and self-produced in 2017 her first short film. Since 2019, she has been developing her screenplay Zolla, within Ciclic’s writing residency. In 2022, Victoria graduated from the residency at La Fémis, a program where she directed Pema.

Li, an illegal immigrant in Paris, works as a professional queue maker. He suffers in silence and does everything so that his daughter does not follow the same path of submission as him.
Maria Claudia Blanco
Maria Claudia grew up in Colombia before leaving for France to pursue her passion for cinema. After studying editing and image, then shooting on Colombian and French sets, she joined the Directing department of the Fémis in 2018 where she graduated from in 2022. She rhymes Paris with Bogota, innocence with maturity and energy with mildness.

Iván Orizaga
With a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Sciences (UNAM) and a specialization in Cinematography (AMCI), he has collaborated in the fields of television, film, and audiovisual production. His experience includes work with channels such as TV UNAM and Cadena 3, as well as independent production companies. His filmography as a director includes the short films La bella normalidad (2021) and Blackout (2023).

During the colonial period, a mysterious woman arrived in Guatemala. No one knows her origin, nor the reasons for her arrival. This young and beautiful woman became a powerful figure and challenged the religious dogmas and views of the time. One day, she was imprisoned by the Holy Inquisition on charges of witchcraft. But was she truly guilty?
Gabriel Gonzalez Guirola
Guatemala, 1987. Gabriel arrived in France in 2007. He spent a year at the Beaux-Arts de Toulouse, where he discovered animation. Then, with a desire to explore the notions of space and volume, he trained as an architect-scenographer. It was during this training that he discovered the world of puppets. In 2016, he joined ENSAV Toulouse to study filmmaking. Since 2017, he has worked on numerous projects around puppets and animated forms.

A girl walks in the streets of São Paulo (Brazil) looking for answers about her nanny Christina, with whom she has lost contact for ten years.
Celina Filgueiras
A Brazilian filmmaker based in São Paulo, she works between Brazil and France on fiction, documentary, music video, and advertising productions. A graduate in Journalism from Mackenzie Presbyterian University in São Paulo, she continued her training as a filmmaker by completing a master’s degree at the ENSAV school in Toulouse. Saudades, her master’s thesis film, was selected for the CILECT 2019 Award and participated in the “Le mois du documentaire” and “A propos d’elles” festivals.
