Javito
Javier, better known as Javito, has an extensive experience in the world of audiovisual communication, both in social networks and television. After having participated in projects such as El Chiringuito de Jugones, as well as other programs of Aragon Tv and Movistar Plus +, Javito has embarked on the film world. In 2023, he directed and edited his first professional short film, Referéndum, nominated at the Zaragoza International Film Festival. Now, with his second project, Check-In, he seeks to continue advancing professionally.

Pol, a 17-year-old boy with a very sensitivepersonality, feels that something is missing in his life and he doesn’t know exactly what, but he is not able to tell his friends due to their toxic masculinity. The universe will cause him to run into Macnifi-K a Drag who will help him find a community that truly understands him, keeping this part of himself completely hidden from his friends.
Balma Miralles
Balma has worked for several projects within San Jorge University. She has been director and co-writer of two short films, Descontrol Marisol and Family Friendly, as well as director of the teaser trailer for the short film No Contestas and co-writer of the short film La Noche de Anoche. She has also worked as a production assistant, prompter, making-of and press and PR office for the short film Bienvenido, Mister Marshal, a remake made for the Fuentes de Ebro Festival.

Izarbe (19) has been admitted to a university outside her village. Her mother, who aspires for her to continue her legacy, is transformed into a terrifying and dangerous monster who will do everything as possible to keep Izarbe from abandoning her.
Marta Presumido
Student of Audiovisual Communication in San Jorge University in Zaragoza. She starts her debut as a director with Hilos (Threads). Her enthusiasm and fluent knowledge about the terror genre and slasher subgenre add her unique perspective showing her visions about overprotection in parenthood in an extreme and fictional situation.

Carmen, a female head of household is going to be evicted due to debts caused by her husband Román, who is a gambling addict. To escape this situation, she is forced to take part in the million-dollar robbery of the Giralt family’s house, where she works as a cleaner.
Alberto Aznar
Student of Film and Advertising and Public Relations at the San Jorge University in Zaragoza. His motivation has always been to communicate through images, the reason why he has been dedicated to photography for a long time and is currently writing and directing his first short films. Bargaining Chip is the first of them.

In Poor Devils, three stories converge about the obsessions of traumatized individuals. Joel, Inma’s grandson, lives locked in his room, where he doesn’t come out, consuming pornography and video games, completely isolated from the real world. Damián, Anne’s boyfriend, can’t behave normally as he desires to completely control his partner. Inma is obsessed with the idea that God is watching her.
Anchel Pinilla
Zaragoza, 2002. He is in his final year of the Audiovisual Communication degree with a specialization in Film at San Jorge University. Poor Devils is his second short film as director and screenwriter. Currently, two documentary short films, also directed by him, are in post-production, focusing on local development experiences: Empenta Artieda and Torralba de Ribota: Pueblos en Arte.
