During his studies he involved himself in more and more film projects, did some freelancing work but it wasn’t before he got approved for the Film production school Kulturama in Stockholm 2005 he felt he could devote all his time to filmmaking. The education lasted two years and gave Erik a lot of opportunities to develop his skills as well as pointing out the direction of how to work with film and photography. In 2008 he went to northern Argentina to shoot a documentary about a group of indigenous people, at the same time bringing them moving images of their ancestors shot by a Swedish expedition in the 1920s. It resulted in a unique material of a tribe of people forced to adapt to modern life, which is now in postproduction. Erik is now living in his hometown Gothenburg.
