INTERNATIONAL CONTEST JURY
He combined his studies in telecommunications engineering with his real passion – art and cartoons. He studied art at the Escola d’Arts del Prat, and then worked on the animated film Peraustrínia 2004 by Fermí Marimón PC. Shortly after, he collaborated as a storyboard artist and illustrator at BRB International in a variety of series including El Retorno de D’Artacán, Las 1001 Américas y Cobi, the mascot of 1992 Olympic Games. He finally joined the company as a Creative and Art Director, working on series such as : Mortadelo y Filemón, Teo, Willy Fog 2, Gnomos 3, Zipi & Zape, El hombre invisible and Zoobabu, to name but a few. He then focused on MMORPG (video game management), development of AR applications and animation for interactive tablets as well as the production of Canimals and Invizimals with Novarama and Sony respectively. Lecturer and speaker on animation in various universities and festivals, he also currently works for Apolo Films as director of the animation film D’Artacán y los Tres Mosqueperros.
