JURY OF THE IBEROAMERICAN COMPETITION
Ricardo Rodríguez started his professional career on the world of TV in the city of Caracas, Venezuela, as a presenter of programs like Supercrópolis Internacional -a children’s program broadcasted for Latin television- or Planeta sur. He combined his acting studies at the theatre research centre Luz Columba and at the Film and Television Academy RCTV.
He worked in different soap operas, TV movies and theatre plays -such as Eres una pecadora, Mariú, Hechizo de amor, Mala sangre, A Calzón quitao, De aquí pá la playa or La Bruja de petaquire– playing the main character. His most outstanding roles on stage include Chuo Gil, O todos o ninguno and Vamos a contar mentiras.
In Spain he worked in cinema, with films as Política Correcta, El Libertador, La cara del diablo, Nunca es tarde or La última cita. In televisión he took part in the series Yo quisiera, Vivo Cantando, B&B, Gran Reserva or Por los pelos.
