MARINA DÍA LÓPEZ

PhD in film history from the Autonomous University of Madrid. She works as a film and audiovisual technician in the Department of Culture of the Cervantes Institute, where she is dedicated to the cultural diffusion of the Spanish language and the Spanish cinema over the World. She was the editor, together with Alberto Elena, of two books on Latin American cinema: Tierra en trance (Alianza Editorial, 1999) and The Cinema of Latin America (Wallflower, 2004). Member of the editorial board of the magazines Studies in Spanish and Latin American Cinemas, Archives of the Film Library and Sequences and Revista de Historia del Cine. She has published articles on Spanish and Latin American cinema in various specialized publications.
