Daniel Chamorro

Daniel is graduated in Information Science from the Complutense University of Madrid and expanded his studies in Mexico, Los Angeles and Berlin as well as the TAI school in Madrid. He has worked with Manos Unidas in several film projects and as a jury member of his clip-art festival.

He has created and co-directed the international film festivals Hemoglozine and Atlantis Film Awards, and he is a professor of cinematography at the Puertollano Film School, in the Study Camps of Art, Music, Film, Dance and Theater of Villarubia and soon in several locations throughout Spain in an itinerant course.

He has directed and produced sixteen short films and two documentaries. He has received more than one hundred and fifty national and international awards for his work and has been selected in over two thousand occasions in film festivals. The magazine “Variety, in Cannes, has written that he could be one of the next ten emerging Spanish directors.

He has studied acting with artists such as René Pereyra, Frances McDormand, Tim Robbins, Bernard Hiller, Frances Fisher, April Webster and Al Pacino. He has recently performed in the series El día de mañana, by Movistar +, directed by Mariano Barroso.

He has won some literary prizes and recognitions as a composer of music for cinema. Also it acts in La banda del Capitán Inhumano (Ex – Los Inhumanos).
