Vernon, a brilliant young black lawyer in London, discovers that the only reason he has been assigned the most important case of his career is the colour of his skin.

He was born in Madrid in 1977. He studied Filmmaking at Centre d’Estudis Cinematogràfics of Catalonia (CECC). His first short movie Dirty Face was nominated to a Goya Award for Best Short Film in 2004. His debut feature film The One-handed Trick (2008), won three Goya Awards: Best New Director, Best New Actor and Best Original Song. Vernon Walks was shot with an international cast and produced by Paramount Channel as part of the series ‘Paramount Originals’.
