Colombia 2017 20' Fiction PREMIERE IN SPAIN

The daily life of a popular neighbourhood of Bogotá is interrupted by a man who is threatening to commit suicide by jumping into the void. Echeverry, an old mariachi, and Jacinto, a gambling addict, will bet their only banknote on the man’s decision.

He studied Film in the city of São Paulo, Brazil, at the Armando Alvares Penteado Foundation, where he directed the short Antonia, shot in 16mm with the support of Kodak Brazil. He directed and produced the short films El tigre (2010) and Surfin’ Chapinero (2015). Las tetas de mi madre is his first film as a producer after setting up Pinhole Films together with con Carlos Zapata and Alejandro Zapata. He is now in charge of the development stage of his debut film as a director, El río que no llegó al mar.
