In a village in the middle of the California Desert, a ten year old girl confronts her grandfather so as to prevent him from selling the water of his estate: she suggests a hare-brained scheme to bring back water to the river that dried up.

Alvaro Ron has written, directed and produced numerous worldwide award-winning short films. These include The Red Thunder, To Kill or Not to Kill and Behind the Curtain. He has executive produced and directed critically acclaimed TV shows including the Spanish adaptation of BBC ́s Life on Mars. His work is mostly known for a unique whimsical vision of the world and for his thought-provoking yet entertaining stories that have reached millions of people internationally.
