Farewell, Pepe.

José María Escriche passed away on Saturday March 29th. The Huesca International Film Festival is left without its founder.

José María Escriche - Pepe to his friends - has left us all with a sadness and emptiness that can never be filled. However, he has left his mark on those and each one of us that had the pleasure of knowing him.

Pepe Escriche was an example for everyone. An example of determination, courage, wisdom, happiness and a fighting spirit.

Dearest Pepe, thank you for having enriched our lives. We love you and will always carry you in our hearts.
