 Annik Troxler first saw the light of the world in 1979 in Willisau, Switzerland. She studied graphic design at the Cantonal School of Art of Lausanne (ECAL), now she lives and works in Basel.
She collaborated at the grafic design studios «Niklaus Troxler, Willisau»,«Fons Hickmann, m23, Berlin» and Stephan Bundi «Atelier Bundi», Boll/Bern. In 2005 she won the Swiss Federal Competition for Design which gave her the opportunity to collaborate for six months with «Mevis & Van Deursen» in Amsterdam. Her posters were selected among many design and poster competitions: In 2004 Annik was awarded a bronze prize in the group of poster promoting culture and art in the 19th Poster Biennale in Warsaw, in 2006 she won with «Intimities 2005» the Grand Prix of the International Poster Triennale of the Museum of Modern Art Toyama in Japan and with «Intimities 2007» she got the first prize at the International Poster Festival in Chaumont, France. |
